DIRECTIONS FOR USING HERITAGE VILLAGE TRANSFERS

1. Remove transfer from package being careful not to apply pressure to the paint image. Until you remove the release paper on back, you can position transfers on the surface without adhering it. Once you are sure of the position, you can mark the transfer and the surface with chalk or pencil for quick and accurate repositioning. Place transfer image, facing down, on a flat surface. Line up your chalk or pencil marks being careful not to press image against surface until in position
2. Slowly peel release paper backing away. Transfer is now ready to be applied
3. Rub over paint image with a hard smooth object such as a wood burnisher or the back of a spoon. As you rub each area the paint will transfer to the surface allowing you to gently peel the plastic cover away. If a section of the image does not release as you burnish, lay the transfer back down and rub harder.
4. After the transfer has been applied, it should be allowed to set for 24 hours before washing off chalk or pencil marks left on surface.
